"Start on the Sidewalk" details various innovative ways that schools can engage stakeholders from the beginning of the day.  Through various videos and discussions, participants will see how Tyrone Thompson ES in Las Vegas, Nevada, goes above and beyond to ensure that kids, staff, and families are not only at school, but involved and engaged in school.  From music outside, to complete and total school/room transformations, participants will gain knowledge about how to influence their climate and culture which leads to higher engagement.  Just start somewhere, anywhere, but why not "start on the sidewalk"?
