Over the past decade, schools have seen a notable increase in student isolation and loneliness, resulting in increased discipline and declines in senses of well-being and poor relationship building. This presentation shares research identifying these trends and provides proactive Tier 1 interventions that effectively support all students. This proactive approach helps build school culture by using positive psychology to enhance character development and relationship building. Teachers have simple classroom-based interventions that are positive and supportive of all students.
