About me
A resident of Peoria Heights, has earned both a M.A. in Teaching English to speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a P.H.D in applied linguistics. Furthermore, he has administrative experience overseeing and directing the reading program in an intensive English program at a university. As well as dozens of peer-reviewed research papers and teacher tips published in peer-reviewed journals, he has presented dozens of conference talks related to reading. He has been hired by regional education centers to present workshops on the Science of Reading, Dyslexia, and English as a second language. In his role as an education specialist with Reading Horizons, Ethan presents and consults on the Science of Reading across the country. He is passionate about sharing the gift of literacy with all educators and students. During this past year's conference, Ethan presented to all Indiana Education Centers about the science of reading.
