About me
Off the mat, Katherine works for Woodland School District 50 in Gurnee, IL, as the Dean of Student Culture. She holds masters' degrees in Administration and Special Education; as well as middle-school teaching experience in 6th grade math & science, 8th grade language arts, 8th grade math (in addition to advanced and gifted courses), and as a 6th-8th grade middle Math Interventionist. Katherine is a 500-hour E-RYT instructor, registered with The Yoga Alliance and a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider). A lifelong-learner with various certifications in areas such as Children's Yoga, Yoga & Mindfulness for Anxiety, Yin Yoga, and advanced yoga anatomy training, Katherine continues to expand her breadth of knowledge and pass it on to her students.
