Exploring Nature to Enhance Learning FULL
Friday February 14, 2025 9:20am - 10:05am CST
Incorporating nature in the classroom enlivens the curriculum and engages students' natural curiosity.  Many students love to look at bugs, leaves, dirt, and anything in nature. In doing so, they are being little scientists when they observe and notice the world around them. Learn how to encourage this curiosity and help them learn about the world in which they live. Explore ways that nature allows students moments to breathe which improves students' mental and emotional well-being, and how learning in nature helps their learning in math, science, and reading.
