Dyslexia Basics: Background and Instructional Practices FULL

This session provides attendees with practical actions and background knowledge to support students with dyslexia. We'll start with an introduction to basic brain research related to dyslexia. The majority of our time will focus on classroom strategies, including phonemic awareness, decoding, and encoding, and how to effectively transfer these skills. We'll conclude with a brief overview of resources such as the state dyslexia guide and toolkit.
